Description

well one of my friends was feeling abit alone alone. so Red has come to provide some comfort. $5 says as soon has you better you be the next one to be upside down. lol The charatcer is Flash oc/fursona to :iconendromida: I also did shadow by using darker colors then the one darker layer i try to do. still need to work on the shadows form.

This really conveys a close hug, which some artists have a hard time drawing.

I would suggest desaturating and lightening up the background a bit. The deep purple-blue is a similar value tone as the grey and vibrant orange. Backgrounds tend to be desaturated and blurry to indicate that they are separate from the foreground. Also, adding some general shapes in the background by just adding different tones of the background color can help. (you could hint at the horizon line behind them or even creases in walls or furniture like shapes) You don't need to go into great detail, or even choose other colors to add background visual information. And remember, the farther back you go in the picture, the less saturated or more grey and less vibrant the colors get.
